When an Empath Is with a Narcissist

An intelligent Empath can feel everything a narcissist hides behind the mask. Energy doesn’t lie and that terrifies them. When the Empath wakes up from the fog of confusion and emotional chaos, the narcissist loses control.

That’s why you need a nightly reset. Regulate your nervous system. Feel into your body. Try yoga, somatic shaking, breathwork, and journaling. Let yourself feel and release. The more you trust your body, the louder it will tell you:

This isn’t safe. This isn’t right.

Ask yourself

What can I do to support myself today?

That answer might be

• Speaking up

• Enforcing a boundary

• Working through the fear of conflict

And understand this: where your thoughts go, your energy follows.

If you’re thinking about them, trying to figure them out, replaying what happened, you’re still caught in their energy field. That’s how they keep feeding off you. Stop analyzing. Accept the situation. It doesn’t feel right. You may never understand why they are the way they are. But that’s not your work.

Your work is to understand you.

Ask yourself

• Why did I tolerate their chaos

• What part of me bonded with the dysfunction

• What wounds did this relationship expose

This is where real healing begins. Look back at childhood. Reconnect with your inner child. Get curious, not judgmental. Explore trauma bonding. If it resonates, try past life regression to go deeper into soul-level patterns and healing.
